EMERGENCY OPERATIONS

Something wrong with your Drupal site? Start here.

When deployments fail, Composer breaks, or an update brings the site down, you need technical clarity, not panic. GURUS helps organizations with Drupal websites that are broken, unstable, outdated, poorly maintained, or abandoned by their original developer. You don't need to diagnose the problem yourself before reaching out.

Who this is for

What GURUS can do

Composer & dependency issues

Dependency conflicts, memory exhaustion errors, and broken vendor directories preventing codebase updates.

Failed deployments

CI/CD pipeline breaks, configuration sync failures (white screen of death), and staging/production drift.

Update failures

Database schema update failures, deprecated API warnings after an upgrade, and core update regressions.

PHP compatibility & broken modules

Fatal errors from PHP version upgrades, abandoned contrib modules blocking core updates, and custom module deprecations.

Performance & database issues

Slow page loads, database bottlenecks, and broken third-party integrations.

Security & production incidents

Security update concerns and production incidents on a site nobody internally fully understands anymore.

What the engagement looks like

Rescue work stays time-based rather than fixed-price, because legacy Drupal sites frequently contain unknown technical risk that isn't visible until someone senior is inside the codebase. Once the underlying problem is diagnosed, GURUS can quote a defined project scope if the fix turns out to be substantial.

  1. 01Tell us what's broken. No technical vocabulary required.
  2. 02A senior Drupal engineer reviews the situation and the platform state.
  3. 03We stabilize the immediate issue and explain what actually happened.
  4. 04If more work is warranted, you get a clear, scoped estimate, never a surprise invoice.

Pricing

$175/hour

3-hour minimum engagement ($525 minimum). Fixed-price rescue work isn't offered before a problem has been properly diagnosed.

Why GURUS

Rescue work isn't handed to a junior developer somewhere inside a delivery team. You work directly with someone who has roughly 15 years of Drupal experience across Drupal 7 through modern Drupal, including deep familiarity with exactly the kind of legacy complexity that causes these problems in the first place.

Tell us what's broken

Not sure what the problem is? That's okay. Describe what you're seeing and we'll help figure it out.
